Birmingham native McDonald Strong cultivated a love of the land early on in life. After working in real estate for several years, he attained his broker’s license in 2004 and later opened Strong Realty. Since then, his passion has led to the brokering, buying, selling, developing and improving of more than 3,000 acres across Central Alabama.
Visualizing an untapped potential is one of McDonald’s greatest skills. Outside of providing an unmatched experience for buyers, sellers and developers, McDonald is active in the Shelby County Chapter of the Alabama Treasure Forest Landowner Association and the Alabama Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute.
Raised on his family’s farm in Chelsea, Alabama, Will grew up with a natural passion for the outdoors. While in business school at Auburn University, Will’s involvement with recreational hunting tracts helped develop what would later become his ambition of helping people find their dream property. Since graduating from Auburn in 2015 and receiving his Alabama real estate license, he’s skillfully used his expertise to guide land buyers and sellers throughout the state. Hailing from Demopolis, Alabama, Edward was practically born into the land business as he received years of tutelage from his father, who managed more than 70,000 acres during his 48-year career. Edward also received a wealth of guidance from his grandfather who served as a logger and lumberman.
Since becoming a licensed realtor, Edward has facilitated more than 15,000 acres of land sales. In addition to that, Lindsay contracted and built over 50,000 square feet of camp houses within the last five years. His extensive experience with both recreational and timber land purchases allows clients to maximize the marketability of their properties. Outside of helping folks buys and acquire land, Edward is an avid sportsman who enjoys wing shooting along with fishing and wood working.

Thomas got his know-how in the land business via summers on the family farm and a semi-apprenticeship with a neighboring landowner. After attending Columbus State University on a baseball scholarship, Morrison began working for Blackjack Lands as a property manager in 2010. After a six-year tenure with Blackridge managing more than 150,000 acres of forestry roads and wildlife projects, he struck out on his own and established Morrison Land Contracting. He joins Strong Realty as an associate with a passion for land conservation and stewardship while also bringing a unique skill set to the company.
